Sita Sargeant
Co-Founder & Executive Director
Sita is a full time religious studies and English Literature student and a part time ghost hunter. When she's not working on Change the Frame, hunting ghosts or studying at university, she can probably be found in a caffeine induced daze reading in one of her favourite local cafes or off hiking in the wilderness trying to trigger a spiritual awakening and/or spot a UFO.
Emmie Shields
Co-Founder & Director of Operations
By day Emmie develops national policy for the Australian Government, and by night she plots ways to take down the patriarchy (this essentially means she reads a lot of feminist blogs). When she's not saving the world (in one way or another), she can usually be found napping with her whippet Jasper or heading out to eat one of her favourite Asian cuisines with her BFF Younny.
Alex Gernath
Co-Founder & Program Director
Alex is a half-jaded university student currently completing her honours in philosophy. She loves honesty and passionately supporting her friends and loved ones. She would like to thank Rupaul's Drag Race for being there when no one else was.
Jazmeen Payne
Co-Founder & Engagement and Outreach Director
Jazmeen is a recent graduate who majored in gender studies and Asia Pacific languages. She is wildly passionate about global gender equality, initiating meaningful change in society and her rescue cat, Toulouse. She is an avid selfie taker who can't help but get herself into heated debates surrounding social issues.
Hannah Worsley
Hannah is from the boondocks/sticks/middle of nowhere - the Nullamanna/Pindaroi area in Northern NSW. She is an adequate skateboarder, an aspiring florist, and a keen education student. She'd like to thank her horse Bellboy and her dog Charlie for loving her unconditionally.
Lara Sinclair
Media Producer and Facilitator
Lara is an aspiring documentary filmmaker. When she's not running or making music videos she loves discussing how we can eradicate the gender disparities in the media industry by empowering young women to critically examine the mass media they consume, while learning how to produce constructive content themselves.
Andrew George
Andrew is Change the Frame's resident science nerd with a major passion for gene technology. Between that and fighting toxic masculinity, he loves to spend time gaming and traveling home to the beach in Tassie!
Katarina Thompson
Curriculum Development Coordinator
Kat is a law and psychology student who has an inordinate love for all types of crafts. When she isn't embroidering feminist slogans and cuddling her cat she dedicates her time to all things law so that she can dismantle the patriarchy from the inside.
Millie Cadden
Social Media Coordinator
Millie currently works in the government to support her lifestyle. She enjoys the art of drag queens, kpop idols and learning about spooky true crime stories. She is looking forward to crushing the patriarchy alongside the team at CTF!
Change the Frame acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia, their diversity, histories and knowledge and their continuing connections to land, water and community. We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and to Elders past, present and future.
